Welcome to my Expedition!

Greetings!!  I’m so glad you stopped by! My name is Suzanne York. I teach 3rd grade at Sierra Madre School in Sierra Madre, California. This year I’m also an Earthwatch Educator Fellow and I’m happy to share my journey with you here online.
Join me and my 3rd graders as we prepare ourselves for my expedition to New Orleans, Louisiana to work with researchers and scientists as we study Forest Caterpillars
and the effects that the recent hurricanes have had on their ecosystem!

We’re part of a special Earthwatch Program called Live! From the Field, and we’ll be using this website to communicate back and forth with each other and other students interested in the research!
