Helen's Hello


           As we close in on the first half of the year, and gratitude and reflection receive double billing, I'd like to share some of mine.

           I continue to be impressed by the eager involvement of parents and grandparents at Sierra Madre School and would like to add my thanks to the many people who make this school work.

           Thank you to all who have joined the PTA and those who have participated in the PTA fall fundraiser by selling and by making direct donations to fund PTA activities.

           Thank you to those who became informed about Bond Measure TT and phoned, marched, or voted on its behalf.

           Thank you to all who volunteer time in the classroom and library, at book sales or dances.

           Thank you to all who produce this newsletter, run and help with all school events, coordinate food drives and balance books.

            Thank you to all who teach, coach, mentor, and create, making Sierra Madre School the rich environment that it is.

            In this time of economic uncertainty, it is wonderful to be surrounded by such generosity of spirit.
